Behind La Maison By Elle is, Leslie B. Her lifelong passion for Art and Interior Design comes from her family; her father being a property developer on the French Riviera and her mother spending her time decorating and meeting with architects, painters, carpenters etc…She naturally became involved in most design decisions and followed her parents to Design and Furniture fairs in France and Italy. Educated in Paris, Nice and London, she obtained a degree in Art History in La Sorbonne and a Master of Law Degree in Nice; she then went to London to get a Master in Art Business from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Attracted by the Contemporary art world and auctions, she worked at Sotheby’s, in their London office. When she moved to NYC and after becoming a mother, she decided to create Maison LB, an interior styling and art consultancy  company; as what she loves the most is to help people build their dream space; at home or at work.  What is really important for Maison LB, is to reach for excellence by  providing the best service possible, whatever the budget. Coco Chanel said:“An interior is the natural projection of the soul”; and that is exactly what Leslie wants to achieve by creating elegant, stylish, and artsy interiors.
